I'm really impressed with the graphics. The game is very similar to other mobile basketball games, but the skills menu is a great touch. There are times when defense switching gets annoying. Offensive players can get dunk animations far too easy. If I'm between a player and the basket, I shouldn't slide out of the way for their animation. I also don't believe blocking is balanced. If they are driving and I press the block button, they will fly past me, and I will do a standing block animation.
This game has already improved a LOT. Yes there are passing options. You can learn how to do everything and every move a player has in practice, which I love. Could use better music variety though. Also the biggest flaw is the lack of shot making consistency. You can miss 3 wide open shots in a row in the blue, and then your opponent's center makes a 3 against koderate defense. When they fix that, it'll be more fun
The game is good. But the shooting needs to be fixed. There's no reason that there's a heat map, and you miss wide open shots even in the hot zone and right on the blue on the shot meter using Tatum. What's the point of the blue part, which is supposed to increase the shot chance if you're still missing wide open. While I see Damian making every 3 open or defended. When this game first came out, everything was good. Now the controls feel slow, and the game is glitching at times.
The game is great. Love the touch on the 3v3 basketball lane. Problems with the game, defense needs to be more balanced. Offense seems to overpowered at times. The game moves a bit sluggish. The passing needs to be touched up a bit. My biggest problem though is other players. Not passing, not playing any defense, taking a shot from half court double covered, etc. Is there any way we can seperate people who actually know how to play, from the more "Casual" player?
The game is so brand new that you can't really gripe about it that much, it has obvious bugs but I know they will be dealt with in the future! The game is great! I always hated NBA mobile but this one is great I especially love the competitive 3v3(I live and die by Rocket league) and I love that you have ranks! So far it hasn't been easy or hard to get progress. It does take a bit of effort to get used to the interface though. But overall great game!!👏👏
Fun game play for a mobile game. Solid graphics. But you definitely hit a wall as far as upgrading players. You'll need like 32 cards to upgrade to the next level, and the cards are extremely difficult to obtain. When you finally build up enough gems to purchase 1 pack that could contain 1 of the player cards, you have a very small chance of actually getting that player. Also, my inbox is now full of messages saying item limit exceeded that I can't delete. The prize chest feature needs fixed
I would say that the movement is too stiff and slow. The most quickest you are going to get is pressing crossover a bunch. Even when you are on defense and press quick chase, you still dont move quickly. The games system is great. you can pick coaches,players ,and play online multiplayer. And the three point contest. I would say the main thing that has to be fixed is the movement.
Fun game, mechanics are fun, gameplay is fun, obviously could use some work on the shooting for 3pt attempts. They recently took out options from the shop to get players, making it harder to even open packs unless you spend at least 10 dollars everytime you want new players or a chance at a duplicate of ones you already have. Feels like an extreme way to make money, and with the odds of getting certain players, makes it even worse.
can be fun for short periods of time. upgrading and interface is solid, the gameplay could definitely use a ton of work. namely the shooting, it is way too inconsistent. Especially from 3pt range. mid range is a little bit better, but if you don't have 100% of a lane in the paint it's not even worth attempting a layup. The only real way to move around with the ball is hitting the crossover button, which everyone will spam to get any kind of space. Cheese Gameplay this game is a $$$ grab attempt.
After about a week of playing this game I like it alot it has amazing potential. I think the players move too clunky, maybe smoother movements for players. There should be more of an accurate way to pass. And if you get beat by an offensive player you should be able to have a chance to contest from behind. Also should be able to switch to players that beat their man to assist on defensive. Maybe a better soundtrack. But so far so good keep up the good work 👏
Passing is very frustrating in this game but mostly everything else is good. Edit: By passing, I mean passing to the person I want to. For example, I would see someone wide open in the corner, drag my joystick in the direction and click pass but the ball will go to the other teammate that's guarded. My passes rarely go to the person it's intended for. Maybe to fix this, each teammate gets a number or a letter and there's a pass button that goes along with it.
This game was decent for the first 2 months or so, but after that, it became boring and glitchy. My main complaint is the lack of content. After almost 2 months, nothing had changed at all. It's the same gamemodes with Lackluster content. It is literally just play, and that's that. Then, shooting is stupid. If you are even barely guarded, watch the ball brick. Even if you are wide open with perfect timing and a boost, watch as you miss 3 times in a row. Nothing is consistent. Plus,trash defense!
The game is very fun but the pacing is so slow, everyone is super slow and it makes the game feel boring at times. Also there's a glitch (At least for me) where I can't move, or it's very very delayed and also when I hold the shoot button but it won't shoot at all until I'm already defended, it's really messing up my defense and my shooting. Other that that the game runs smooth, it's fun and I enjoy it.
Been playing on & off since launch. It keeps me entertained, engaged, & also furious. Gameplay itself runs very smooth & most players (Epic & higher) have a distinct play style which offers a wide range of both play styles & players. Biggest complaint is, Ranking up players is NOT CHEAP. I think the prices should be cut in half. As for the game itself, its not many complaints I can muster. Biggest annoyances are other players while in game. New Players are released slowly but steady! Solid 8/10!
The game is great. I've met new friends and we enjoy everyday gaming with one another. However the blocking can be worked. We need more players to work towards. Soon. But outside of that. We're great. Thanks for the upgrade. Better than NBA Live. Running almost neck &neck with 2k. It's been a few weeks since my initial review. I love the game but lately it has kicked me out more and it's been rough on network connection. We are penalized for leaving games. So please try to fix this 🙏🏾.
Graphics are pretty good, overall gameplay is pretty smooth. It's a little choppy when you first load up. I did feel like I was collecting stuff more than actually playing a game of basketball tho. if I download a sports game I want to play the sport, not having 4 different styles of packs to open up and cards I have to merge to boost them, then I had daily/weekly/monthly to collect. Then I had clothes for my avatar to collect, and 20 other things. Before you knew it an 30 min past 1 game played
SO MANY great things about this game! I know it's early, but I'm giving it a 4 star. some things like shot contesting are inconsistent and things like speed and movement just aren't ideal. Also, the servers are a little rough (I'm running about 100+ ping. Still, I could go on and on about how much I love this game. There's no green system, the grinding is fun, not needing p2w, and playing with friends + true live multiplayer are all things I live about this game.
I really like this game. But a couple . . To improve first.. there's needs to be. A shooting 3 pt mid range and layup/ power layup tutorial. I can't make a basket to save my life. I just lost 27 2 bc I can't make baksets.... not tutorial to help practice. What u have does not cut it... also it hard to navigate through. the controls are kinda wonky It's a great game other wise. Update: took ur advice. Shooting is getting better... thank u for the advice and answering . I changed to 5 stars
It's a pretty good game. It crashes from time to time, but nothing too annoying. I'd say the worst part of the game is the people who play it, 90 percent of my randoms in ranked 3v3 literally make me want to cry with how much of a ball hog and low iq players they are,and it's hurting my rank so much. Other than the community in the mid ranks, it's a pretty good game, and I can't wait for more players to come out.
I really enjoy the gameplay and the different players that the game offers. Rates, Epics, & Legends are all viable so it's not crazy PTW. F2P players have more than Viable Options to compete in the game. My main gripes are The Prime Collection Event(s) are incredibly expensive more than $250 USD in order to complete the board. The updates are rolling out & the Devs are at least listening to the community. So far so good. Definitely recommend!!
