Great game. The graphics are good, no ads. It can be a deep pockets game if you want, but I enjoy the hub with the rewards and feel it's worth the cost for the extra $10.00. There are definitely flaws in the game. Crafting is for deep pockets only, the market place is okay but again, mostly for deep pockets. All in all, it's my favorite.
I really liked this game a ton before the latest update. The update has completely bogged down the route running and QB drop backs. The timing is just flat off. The receivers start off real slow off the line, then by the time they get even an ounce of separation you're sacked half the time, sucks for you. Please restore the timing you guys had before. Also, when I look in the Cold Snap store, almost everything is "sold out" when I never had a chance to use the tokens on these.
Good game, but it could be better. Every time I play cold snap or safe zone, I come across people that have a power of 2500 to 3000. I'm currently at 1900 power. My recievers run in slow motion next to these guys. They can never get open. My O line is hot garbage. Even if I can barely get some separation from my best receiver. I always get sacked. Makes it impossible to win those games.
The newest update has ruined the game. The new update increased the difficulty so much that the game is no longer fun. My quarterback not just randomly starts drifting left or right on a pass play or just stands still and no longer drops back. Took so many losses that my progress in the events is completely ruined. What kind of QC went into this update?
Latest update has made the game unplayable. Between being tackled from 10 yards away, passes glitching to an interception to a player 15 yards away, the invisible players getting tackles. The focus is on making money and nothing for actual gameplay. Edit: The game is still broke but they made it worse with more pay to play "features" it's not even pay to win anymore. Just to play is wild.
Definitely like thale game, still a lot I don't get but learning quick. Having issues with fusing the blueprints have everything needed and done to do it but keeps telling me to try again on a few minutes. I've reset the game, re installed it, still the same problem. Sent an email to support, will change the rating depending how things go
It's really freakin' weird how the game just so happens to experience glitch-outs/crashes on every morning that I actually have a legit chance to get a legendary card... forcing me to have to use my currency in lesser cards... pretty odd that that just "keeps happening to me", BUT YET, while I'm unable to get on the game there's supposedly at least hundreds other people that happen to have access to log in while I can't and they always buy them completely up nearly instantly... awesome:(:(
Overall good(no longer great) game, after last update went to he**, interceptions from player no where close to the ball, jump tackle from 10 feet away now. All they focus on now is how to drive money into the game. It's sad what they're doing to such a great game. I wish things was more affordable for average person, but I guess that's greed, if they'd quit being greedy n make things more reasonably priced for the average person, and quit making it more about money and fix gameplay it'd be 5*
Everytime I get the rush for 50 yards in a single play, the task is incompletable. The rushing distance should be shorter or the reward for the task should be higher. This is by far the most difficult task to do in this game and is only possible with a 3 star+ character. This essentially screws anyone who doesnt pay for better cards. New update ruined game.
Highly enjoyable experience. I personally would recommend trying this game to anybody who enjoys football and/or to those who enjoy games in general. User friendly and easy to learn. Great time killer. However, this game does lean towards pay to play heavily, and progression can at times seem to come to a halt without the purchase of micro transactions. The events keep your sense of achievement high and the thrill to progress, but once again, cater to those who have spent money.
It's a fun, easy game. I've managed to build a team with a rating of 2,211 without spending any real money. I don't like that it was changed to having to spend real money to get blueprints (other than the ones you can get in the arena first time and the monthly challenge) I did however earned an avatar "The Boss" pic that I never received after completing in autumn rush. Other than that it's fun and quick, 1 game takes about 4 minutes to play.
New update has to be the worst update to any game I have ever experienced. I went from being able to win almost every game to it being almost impossible to win, getting instantly sacked, and having defenders jump through your blockers. Changed the perspective on plays making defenders invisible or instantly tackle you and completely changing the way plays are run. Can't even run with a 4* RB. Game is totally unplayable now. Do not play this game.
This game seems pretty fun and is pretty fun in the beginning, but once you get to a certain point in the early game, it becomes incredibly unbalanced, you could go against a 1,201 power team, but end up losing even if your team is over 1,400 power, even if it seems like you might win. The passing system is really bad also, you could have a really good QB, but your throw would end up missing, also the players don't even run to the ball if pass to Space most of the time. I'd recommend retro bowl.
Very fun to play with a variety of challenges. A point comes though where you feel that the only way to progress is to spend substantial money to progress. That seems like it would be a recurring too. That being said it is fun so far but has its pitfalls which usually come down to money. I'm not saying they shouldn't charge money but some of the exclusive features require spending upwards of $300 to access and player packs can cost more than $20 for average player cards at best.
Great concept, like a love child of Blitz and Madden. Great graphics and decent controls. Horrible AI: kicks the extra points when down by two and no time left on the clock, defense plays the ball while the receiver will run his route away from the ball and ignore when you throw it. A ninety rated quarterback throws the ball with basically zero accuracy beyond 10 yards. Your team always receives the opening kick which is annoying since you don't have control on defense and they can eat clock.
I have mixed feelings. I play it a lot, but I do not like the passing system. The fact that your QB is throwing to a zone and not the receiver gets really annoying. The ball can go anywhere in the circle, most of the time not even close to your receiver. Even with a really accurate quarterback, they can look pedestrian. The fact that an elite quarterback struggles to throw the ball accurately 20 yards away is unrealistic and infuriating at times. Tweak the passing system and it would be better!
Imagine if you took all of the fun and charm out of Retro Bowl, and replaced it with slow action and microtransactions. That is this game. There are like 8 total plays available, all of the movement is incredibly slow paced, and the rest of the game is based around trying to get to you to buy the in game currencies (yes, plural). This whole game is the bottom of the barrel.
This game is amazing you can get new cards, players, teams, clubs. All of that. There are coins by winning games and losing games. You can also go online to play with other people same or different level. When you get up levels tho. It gets harder to get coins and level up. But you can win games to get into the Super Bowl. Overall this game NFL Rivals-Football is a HUGE thumbs up.
I used to love this game Just recently won a free pack reward from playing the new event. I had 2 blue print packs and they both gave me the same player and blue print. The marketplace seems to be a money grabber. Cards that you spend resources on are not worth anything to trade with, and the prices are insane. The new update and now the camera randomly zooms out and you can see the play. The speed threshold is bias for the computer.
This is a pretty fun Arcade style game similar to Blitz or NFL Xtreme (for my 30+ gamers). The throwing mechanic gets easier. The playcalling is a little too simple. Unlike mobile Madden I can actually use the team of stars that I built from packs (Diggs and Hurts). Tracking the divisions is really fun. I wish they had the actual stadiums and some uniform editing but that's minor for a new game. Rivals has a ton of potential and is at a great starting point. Glad EA lost that license!
